Observation from iterative refinement: repeatedly asked @claudeai (same context) to review my code using all agent skills + suggest performance, UI & UX improvements. Now at iteration 7. Early rounds found ~20 issues each; findings now decreasing and mostly trivial/negligible.

One of my favorite things about AI right now: I can finally build the software I always wanted. Adding features to my favorite OSS. Reviving and modernizing abandoned @obsdmd plugins, e.g. Feels like leverage shifted back to builders.

What the F is happening to Opus 4.6 right now? The most simple ask possible with a fresh context sends it off into a 5 minute thinking and exploring spree without fixing anything.

@strehldev Same. Opus 4.6 is a regression for me. Takes longer and the quality is worse.

Every Friday I host a fireside chat at Vercel. Today's guest was the inimitable @steipete, of C̶l̶a̶w̶d̶b̶o̶t̶ M̶o̶l̶t̶b̶o̶t̶ OpenClaw¹ fame. He blew me away. Beyond the spectacular success of the project, it was eye-opening to dive into his agentic engineering process and style. Like many in the newest generation of AI-native developers, Pete didn't have direct experience with Next.js nor Vercel when building https://t.co/GP9tV3wS42 or https://t.co/nHC7n86ibF. He just prompted them into existence. His take on what skills are valuable in the new world resonated with mine: deep understanding of how systems and architecture fit together. The implementation and code-writing is the agent's job. We also got a glimpse of his long-term vision which is even cooler than what we've all seen so far. ¹Oh, and we brainstormed the next rename 😂
